How to configure Android for VoIP calling.

Use inexpensive voip phone service on the go. Download Media5 on your Android phone or tablet, then enter the account data received from Pathephone. You can phone both at home and outside, wherever there is 3G/Wi-Fi Internet access.

1. Install and run Media5

Media5-fone is available on the Android Market for free and is preconfigured for Pathephone.

3. Configure SIP accounts

Enter the username that was given to you by Pathephone.

5. Set Password

Enter the password that was given to you by Pathephone.

7. Click Done

Click on the button "Done" to save your account settings.

2. Choose Pathephone

Media5-fone is preconfigured for Pathephone and for many other popular VoIP providers.

4. Enter the Username and save it

Enter the username that was given to you by Pathephone, then click OK.

6. Enter the Password

Enter the password that was given to you by Pathephone, then click OK.

8. Enjoy

Now you may use VoIP phone service on your Android.

  b) your SIP client does not support DNS SRV
  c) you are using mobile 3G or public Wi-Fi or any other unstable or low-speed Internet connection,
